NEW POLICY FOR 2009 REGARDING TEAM PERSONNEL
Commencing in the 2009 season, individuals interested in volunteering for bench personnel positions (Head Coach, Assistant Coaches, Trainer and Team Manager) will be required to submit an application and a CPIC.
CPICs will be required every three (3) years and will be reviewed confidentially by members of the Team Peronnel Selection committee (names listed below under interviewers). CPICs can be obtained through the City of Kingston Police and details can be found at: http://www.police.kingston.on.ca/Information%20Services.htm.
A fifteen (15) minute interview will be completed for each division even if only one person applies.
Most organizations practice this policy when dealing with children and the Executive committee felt it necessary to implement into the KLA regulations.
